I was a kid when in 1996 Disney released there Epic movie, The Lion King, trust me when I watched the movie I was completely overwhelmed by the story. So all the people like me who loved the Lion King should watch this high profile musical in Lyceum Theatre. I am sure after watching this musical it will redefine your definition of theatre; the musical will take you to some other dimension and will make you form an illusion of truly being in Africa.
As the actors performs on the stage under the guidance of Julie Taymor, an American director and designer, the whole ambience of the show and the lights will transport you to some other world. The entire show is presented in such a way that, it makes you feel a part of the show and I am sure you cannot control tears rolling down your cheek.
The show happens in the Lyceum Theatre which is Westend theatre, located at Wellington Street. The nearest station to the theatre is Covent Garden/Charing Cross, the theatre has a capacity of over 2000. However it is advised to book you tickets in advance, the price of tickets ranges from GBP65 – GBP75.
