• Public Gardens
The garden open’s seasonally, is one of the best and spectacular gardens I have been to, after Central Park in New York City. The Garden offers perfect escape from the maddening and crazy hustle of the Spring Garden Road, so do start your day out from here. The garden is a perfect place of have long strolls with your partners, while you smell the fragrance of thousands of flowers over soft cushiony green grass. The park has many rare and exotic species of plants, trees, and flowers from all over the world and the best part the park is completely FREE…
• Downtown
My dad always told me that walking is the best exercise and I agree to it! So why not double it up the fun with downtown as in checking out the whole downtown walking. So after the Public Garden, head towards downtown. Halifax’s downtown is located on a slope which eventually ends up at the beach. So do take the pleasure of exploring the new city’s downtown on feet by just ducking in and out of the shops and streets. Here be ready to run into tons of eating places, specialty stores, fashion boutiques and art galleries.
• Party and Post party Breakfast
Halifax boasts of its young and happening crowd, all because of huge student population. So weekends are party days and what else can be more happening then the Split Crows with their beers and live music? It is one of the best joints to mingle with the locals and the drinks here are very cheap.
After a night of wild partying you may want to head towards Maxwell Plums for some greasy yet healthy breakfast of bacons, eggs, toasts and fries, all for CA$2. Isn’t it a steal?
