Do you love beer? Well I do and I think after water, milk and soft drinks, beer is one of the most consumed beverages in the world. Boston is one of the places in the world where some of the best beers come from. So if you are in Boston don’t even think of skipping the Samuel Adams Brewery tour, an ideal place to learn about the history of Boston’s world famous beers. Samuel Adams was one of the major parts of the Boston’s history along and a very famous brewer putting America on the brewing map in1980’s. So it won’t be wrong to say that, in Samuel Adam history be ready to sip the history.

The Samuel Adams Boston tour topped the list, as the tour is free and you will get to taste some of the best beers for free. When you enter the brewery a guide will take you through the every process of beer making. My adventure started with a presentation about the history of Samuel Adams Beer and America. The second room had many photographs and awards won by them. After the presentation I was taken to the third room, here I was informed about the barley and hops used in beer making. The guide even passed a cup of the same for closer view. Sam Adams brewery was famous for making some of the strongest beers in the market. However the disappointment came when we dint get to taste that one. After the briefing on beer making we were transferred to the tasting room, which was the best part of the tour. Here I enjoyed myself to the fullest as I was sipping the freshest beer ever.

The tour starts every forty-five minutes. The tour generally last around 1 hour and the tour is free so you really don’t have to make reservations. The brewery is open Monday – Thursday, 10:00 – 3:00 pm, Friday 10:00am-5:30 pm, and Saturday 10:00 am-3:00 pm. The tour doesn’t have any entrĂ©e charges however donation is welcome.
