Head towards Parc Jean – Drapeau’s outdoors for free lessons on Salsa, Merengue and other Latin dances. You will meet many like minded people there learning this intimate form of dancing and practicing the learned steps for hours and hours.
Free outdoor dancing lessons are held twice in a week every summer, generally the lessons happen on Fridays and Sundays. The learning session generally last for an hour or two, attended by many people who are enthusiastic about dancing. After the lesson the concrete ground is your play ground where you can practice all the steps for hours and hours.
Parc Jean – Drapeau can be easily reached by car and taxis, the parking charges are $15 for more than 2 hours. However the cheaper and better option is to reach Parc Jean- Drapeau via metro train, get off at Jean – Drapeau and just walk diagonally to the left. The dancing square is just at a short distance from the Metro station.
